Abstract

Candidate of Medical Sciences Murat Tleugabylovich Aitkulov, a pathologist of the highest category and an experienced teacher, was born on April 10, 1941, in the village of Saryozek in the Ayyrtau district of Northern Kazakhstan. From 1967 to 1981, M.T. Aitkulov assisted at the Department of Pathological Anatomy, where he was awarded the academic title of associate professor. Till 1995, he was a teacher and headed the courses in pathological anatomy and forensic medicine at Karaganda State Medical University. From 1982 to 1997, he deputed and then headed the Faculty of Dentistry. From 1989 to 1992, M.T. Aitkulov was the Chief Freelance Pathologist at the Karaganda Regional Health Department. His contribution to the development of the Kazakh language in the field of medicine, especially in the field of pathological anatomy, is enormous. From 2011 to 2018, he continued teaching at Kokshetau Higher Medical College. In 2018, after the opening of the Faculty of Medicine at Ualikhanov Kokshetau State University, Murat Tleugabylovich was invited to head the Department of Morphology, Physiology, and General Pathology. He greatly contributed to the formation and structural strengthening of the still-young, immature faculty. For his long service, M.T. Aitkulov was awarded several medals, the badge of excellence "Excellent Healthcare Worker" of the USSR, "Excellent Healthcare Worker" of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and a certificate of honor from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
