Relevance. Colorectal cancer today is one of the most important health problems both in the world and in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Taking leading positions in the general structure of oncopathology, this nosological form of tumors forces clinicians to develop ways to improve statistical indicators.
Purpose of the study. To study the epidemiological aspects of colorectal cancer in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2010-2019.
Results. This article presents and analyzes the epidemiological indicators of colorectal cancer in the Republic of Kazakhstan over the past decade. The dynamics of morbidity, taking into account the territorial characteristics, indicators of early diagnosis and neglect of this type of malignant neoplasms in our country, as well as the 5-year survival rate, one-year mortality and mortality rates for the specified period were studied. Comprehensive comparative analysis of these epidemiological indicators made it possible to visually demonstrate the results of many years of work to improve oncological indicators and made it possible to formulate directions for their improvement.
Conclusion. An analytical assessment of the statistical indicators of colorectal cancer over a ten-year period showed that there is an increase in the incidence, and there are regions that from year to year excel in this indicator. At the same time, indicators of early diagnosis are improving and one-year mortality and mortality are decreasing.
