Аннотация
The relevance of research: The treatment of patients with pancreatoduodenal cancer remains as an unresolved issue of modern oncology, which is due to unsatisfactory results.
Aim of the research: The evaluation of the effectiveness of the proposed method of pancreatoduodenal resection.
Results: As a result of the high trauma of the operation, there are quite formidable and intractable postoperative complications in up to 50-70% cases and, accordingly, there is a high mortality rate associated with surgery. As a result of using the developed method of forming a pancreatojejunal anastomosis, it was possible to reduce the incidence of postoperative complications from 54.2% to 42.8% and, accordingly, to decrease the mortality in the early postoperative period from 22.8% to 14.2%.
Conclusion: Surgical management of the pancreaticoduodenal tumors is often accompanied by complications, which can be explained by the anatomical and physiological features of the pancreas and, accordingly, the technical difficulties of the surgical intervention. After such a traumatic operation as pancreatoduodenal resection and despite the prevention of the complications and introduction of innovative technologies, complications are often noted, although there is some tendency towards a decrease in the incidence of complications.
This article presents the results of surgical treatment of pancreatic tumors. The proposed method for the formation of a pancreatojejunal anastomosis made it possible to significantly reduce the incidence of postoperative complications to 42.8% and mortality to 14.2%, which indicates its effectiveness.
